Mobile Ticketing FAQs

The app ticket functionality is predominantly for OneCity account holders and casual fans at present. Due to the way our ticketing system is configured, there are different scenarios for season ticket holders and members.

  • Season ticket holders purchasing a single match ticket

    League games

    Continue to use your season ticket card as normal, your ticket will not appear in your fan wallet in the app.

    Cup games

    If you purchase your usual seat, your season ticket card will be activated and your ticket will not appear in your app wallet. If you purchase a different seat and select ‘UPLOAD TO NCFC APP’ then your ticket will appear in your fan wallet. Please note, this may take 15 minutes to appear and the QR code will not be displayed in the ticket until 24 hours prior to the game.

  • Members purchasing single match ticket

    Members purchasing a single match ticket for themselves will be uploaded to their fan card and will not appear in the fan wallet in the app. See below for multiple ticket purchases.

  • Purchasing multiple tickets under one supporter number

    In certain circumstances (i.e. cup games) we allow supporters to purchase more than one ticket under their supporter number. Once you have added the tickets to your basket you can choose to ‘UPLOAD TO NCFC APP’. All of your tickets will be sent to your fan wallet in the app with the following exceptions:

    If you are a season ticket holder purchasing your own seat plus additional tickets – your season card will be activated for your own seat but the other tickets will be uploaded to your app.

    If you are a member, one ticket will upload to your fan card but the other tickets will be uploaded to your app.

    In any case, you will need to arrive with your group and enter the stadium together.

  • Purchasing multiple tickets using friends and family

    We allow supporters to purchase tickets on behalf of others using friends and family. For instructions on how to manage friends and family please click HERE.

    Once tickets have been added to your basket you can use the dropdown in each ticket to select a member of your friends and family to assign the ticket to. This will ensure that loyalty points are added to the correct account and tickets can be sent to each individuals’ app.

    Selecting ‘UPLOAD TO NCFC APP’ will automatically send friends and family tickets to THEIR app and not your own. Please ensure that if you do this, your friends and family have downloaded the app and can log in with their OneCity account to access their ticket before the game. Supporters can download the app after tickets have been purchased and they will appear in their fan wallet.

    Please note, if you select someone who is a member, their ticket will be sent to their fan card, not their app. Similarly, season ticket holders being assigned their own seat will get their ticket uploaded to their season ticket card, not their app.

  • How do I download the app?

    Visit the Apple / Google Play store depending on whether your device is iOS or Android and search for ‘Norwich City Football Club’ to download. Alternatively, visit canaries.co.uk and click the relevant link.

  • How do I purchase an app ticket?

    When you have selected your seats on the ticketing website select ‘UPLOAD TO NCFC APP’. Please note, this may take 15 minutes to appear and the QR code will not be displayed in the ticket until 24 hours prior to the game. For multiple ticket purchases, please read the paragraph above about multiple purchases.

  • How do I access my fan wallet?

    Select the ‘Tickets’ button on the bottom menu of the app. Alternatively, you can click the ‘My Profile’ icon in the top right corner of the app and select ‘Access My Fan Wallet’. In either case, if you are not logged in to your OneCity account you will be prompted to do so.

  • How do I use my ticket in my fan wallet?

    Prior to the game please ensure your ticket is in your fan wallet. On arrival at the stadium, select the correct fixture and your ticket(s) will display, along with the seat detail. The QR code needs to be inserted into the ticket reader at the entry turnstile/gate in the same way as a barcode ticket. This process is detailed in the instructional video.

  • I’ve purchased a ticket, but I have no QR code in my fan wallet.

    If kick-off is more than 3 weeks away, no ticket will appear in your fan wallet. Your ticket will appear within you fan wallet kick-off is in the next 3 weeks but QR codes will only appear in the fan wallet 24 hours before kick-off

  • How many tickets can I upload to my fan wallet?

    For launch, we are limiting the number of tickets available in the fan wallet to four to ensure smooth entry into the stadium.

  • My ticket does not display the turnstile I need to go to?

    Your turnstile will be displayed in your email confirmation you received when booking the ticket. Alternatively, please ask a steward for guidance.

  • I have bought multiple tickets for the same fixture and the tickets are in my app, how do we all enter the stadium with one phone?

    Within the ticket, scan your first QR code, pass your phone back to the next person and enter the stadium as normal. The next person needs to swipe left to ticket two and scan the second QR code. This process is repeated for the whole group and is also detailed in the instructional video.

  • How do I know which ticket is mine?

    In the top left of the ticket, your price band is shown. In the middle of the ticket your stand, block, row and seat number are displayed.

  • What happens if the turnstile goes red?

    If you are in a group, ensure you are using a ticket that has not already been scanned. If the turnstile still goes red, or you have one ticket, please visit the ticket office to check the status of your ticket.

  • Will my season ticket card or membership card appear in the fan wallet?

    No they won't

  • I have a season ticket, can I have my ticket as an app ticket?

    For home league games, your ST card will be required to enter the stadium. For home cup games, if you purchase the seat you normally sit in and there is no change to the concession, the ticket will be uploaded to your ST card. The only time you would get an app ticket is if you purchase a seat that is different to the one you normally sit in or you upgrade.

  • I am a member, can I have my ticket as an app ticket?

    No, you cannot have an app ticket if you are a member.

  • Can I use the app for away games?

    No, app tickets are only available for home games.

  • Can I share tickets once I have uploaded them to the app?

    No, you group will need to enter the stadium at the same time.

  • We use Friends and Family. Does everybody in the booking need to have the app?

    If you select friends and family when ordering tickets, you must ensure those friends and family members also have the app, as their tickets will appear in their app.

  • I can’t access the app on matchday, e.g. no battery, forgot password, lost phone etc.

    Please visit the ticket office to get a reprinted ticket.

  • I selected Print @ Home, but my ticket is showing in my app, can I use the ticket in the app?

    Yes, any ticket with a QR code will be uploaded to the app and can be used to gain entry into the stadium. However, if you have selected Print@Home and you intend to enter the stadium with a printed ticket, please make sure you print your ticket full size on an A4 piece of paper.

  • I’ve incorrectly selected ‘UPLOAD TO NCFC APP’ at checkout and need my tickets in another format.

    Please contact the ticket office to rectify this.
